Our Ability to Think Critically is Critical

Today, anyone can look up information, but it takes a special brain/heart connection to make sense of that information and lead constructively.  In this episode, Donna Peters interviews, Dr. Sarah Schrank, Professor of History.  Dr. Schrank has taught thousands of our next-generation leaders in the largest and most diverse educational system in the United States, focusing on urban history with a passion for building students' skills in:

  • navigating and evaluating the bombardment of information/stimuli

  • making connections between the past and the present in context

  • civic citizenship

Dr. Schrank advises our next-generation leaders to be organized, stay focused on the task at hand and ask for help.
